Interface evaluation showed us that people responded well to simple visualizations of their money rather than actual numbers and charts. This helped us to hone in on how to show a lot of information without overwhelming the user with complexity.
Microsoft and Motorola together prompted us to develop a concept that would facilitate learning on a context-aware mobile device. To this initial prompt, we added the socially relevant topic of personal finances. The resultant product, current•c, is a card that helps you learn to make smart financial decisions. You carry it with you and use it to make all of your purchaseswhen you need it most: at the moment of choice.
