We wanted input from the community itself on the principles of the vision guide. To gather this input, we created a method that allowed community members to describe desired qualities of the facility by comparing it to everyday objects. “If one of these juicers were the community health center of the future, which would it be and why?”
Healthy Hills
A service design project in collaboration with UPMC, our team was asked to look at a UPMC satellite facility and develop a service design concept for improving the patient experience.
Healthy Hills is a community centered concept that not only provides medical treatment, but inspires healthy lifestyles through a variety of services that involve the community in taking care of their own health.
