Our unique domain required us to find a suitable research analog. After many exploratory interviews in a variety of fields we chose the construction domain. It encounters communication delay problems and has several roles that map well to NASA missions.
Mars Activity Planning
Given NASA’s plan to send manned missions to Mars, our task was to create a system that allows ground control and astronauts to collaboratively plan and execute activities with a large communication delay.
